Environmental Policy

Cougar Automation is a company that cares about the environment.

We will encourage good environmental practice, and we will ensure as far as reasonably practicable, that in all of our activities we will continuously work towards reducing our impact on the environment In order to achieve our aim, we will:

• Create a management system which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004, and maintain certification as an BS EN ISO 14001 registered company via a UKAS accredited certification body.
• Endeavour to meet all regulatory and consent requirements relevant to our business.
• Endeavour to reduce our impact on the environment by reducing our consumption of resources and create less waste through the adoption of reduction, reuse and recycling.
• Prevent pollution

To enable us to achieve this we will:

• Identify the impacts that our operations have on the environment, and our legal obligations.
• Quantify the impacts we have, measuring resources used, and waste produced
• Define objectives and targets to reduce resources used and waste produce
• Implement policies, procedures and systems to help us meet those targets
• Measure results, and compare against targets
• Review progress and seek improvements in targets, systems and results

We will continually assess our environmental policy and business procedures, looking for ways we can improve our systems to reduce the impact our operation has on the environment

All Cougar Automation employees are committed to this process, and we will also involve our suppliers and subcontractors.
