Frisbee Rounders

On Wednesday the 19th of September 2007 the cats from Hampshire and Yorkshire offices piled into Ford Galaxys and headed for Coventry for the fourth annual Company Day.

On arrival we relaxed, going our separate ways to the pool, gym and Jacuzzi to chill out before dinner.

A few races in the pool later and slightly damper we settled down to eat. As well as socialising with the people on our tables we all joined together to celebrate the success of various people who had worked hard or achieved success in the company. The rest of the evening was spent in the bar in rather more merriment than was probably sensible, the last of us eventually making it to bed at around 4.30 am. They think.

Slightly worse for wear nearly everybody met again at breakfast feeling moderately sorry for ourselves.

The day itself consisted of various activities. As well as celebrating our successes of the year and looking to the future we also played a number of team games including “Frisbee rounders”. While technical skill may have been lacking the game was highly competitive and great fun.

We also found some time to look at ways to further improve the service and experience we give our customers which included (rather bizarrely) management lessons from the Cheshire Cat.

After some final awards to recognise exceptional achievement we headed back at the end of the day tired but happy in our fleet of Galaxys.
